BookFunctionHalls.com is operated by DeccanBridge. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, what we do with it, and who else sees it.

1. What we collect

• Enquiries. When you enquire about a venue: your name, phone number, and optionally email, event type, event date, guest count and message.
• Venue claims. When you claim a venue: your name, role at the venue, phone and optionally email.
• Accounts. If you sign up (as a venue owner, staff member or admin): your email and the details you add to your profile or venue.
• Booking register & cash book. If you're a subscribed venue owner: booking and financial records you enter yourself for your own venue. This data is private to your venue — other venues on the platform can never see it.

We don't currently run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site.

2. How we use it

• An enquiry is forwarded to the specific venue you enquired about, so they can respond to you directly.
• A claim is reviewed by our team to verify and approve venue ownership.
• Account information is used to run your login, your venue's dashboard, and (for admins) the moderation console.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond what's described here.

3. Where it's stored

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery and security) and Supabase (database and account authentication). Both are established infrastructure providers we rely on to store and protect data — we don't run our own servers or databases.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie, set by Supabase Auth, only to keep you logged in. It's functional, not used for tracking or advertising, and isn't set unless you sign in.

5. Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you — email connect@deccanbridge.com and we'll act on it. Note that deleting an approved venue claim or account may affect your ability to manage that venue's listing.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
